The Program
EV-Pride is a network and campaign that adds an LGBTQIA+ lens to environmental justice to ensure we are working to advance multimodal e-mobility solutions across the U.S. and ensure that those solutions are inclusive, safe, and equitable by and for LGBTQIA+ communities.
EVPride envisions a world where all communities, including the LGBTQIA+ community, are free of air pollution from cars and trucks, and everyone can reap the benefits of electric vehicles and access multimodal e-mobility solutions more safely without fear of harm or discrimination all while feeling comfortable and confident taking part in the communities they love.
As a part of the nation’s largest network of diverse EV drivers and enthusiasts, EVPride provides a safe space where LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies can come together to share their enthusiasm and passion for EV. All while working collectively, through a mix of grassroots engagement; advocacy; media outreach; speaking engagements; and research to make sure LGBTQIA+ voices are heard, highlighted, and included in high-level decision making so that everyone can reap the benefits of EVs and access to multi-modal e-mobility solutions more safely and equitably.
