The 2025-2026 E-Mobility Fellowship Pipeline Program: Developing the Workforce of Tomorrow

We are excited to announce the 2025–2026 E-Mobility Fellowship Pipeline Program Cohort — a dynamic group of 44 fellows from 21 institutions across the country. This new class of fellows represents the next generation of innovators who will shape the future of electric, connected, shared, and autonomous mobility.

Building the Workforce of Tomorrow

The transportation sector is undergoing one of the most significant transformations in modern history. From electrification to automation, the mobility industry is rapidly evolving, creating both unprecedented opportunities and urgent workforce needs. The E-Mobility Fellowship Pipeline Program was created to address this challenge by equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and professional networks required to thrive in this fast-changing field.

As the first-of-its-kind, brand-neutral pipeline program, the Fellowship partners with leading companies and organizations across the e-mobility ecosystem. Together, we provide fellows with unique access to industry expertise, hands-on learning, and exposure to career pathways that are often difficult to navigate without direct connections.

A Groundbreaking Approach

The Fellowship goes beyond traditional internships or coursework. It is designed as a comprehensive, competitive program that develops well-rounded leaders by:

  • Exposing fellows to industry leaders through workshops, speaker series, and site visits.
  • Building mentorship connections that provide career guidance and support.
  • Creating pathways into e-mobility careers, from engineering and policy to business development and sustainability.

By intentionally engaging students from a broad range of backgrounds and institutions, the Fellowship strengthens the pipeline of talent and ensures that the workforce of tomorrow reflects the full spectrum of communities and perspectives in the mobility sector.

Expanding Opportunities for Students

We envision the E-Mobility Fellowship as an ongoing, scalable initiative that adds a vital new dimension to our mission: preparing students for success in emerging transportation careers. Opportunity and access are at the core of this program. When students gain hands-on exposure to mobility innovation, they are better equipped to build solutions that serve everyone.

Through personal and professional relationships with program partners, fellows not only gain technical knowledge but also learn best practices that deepen both their educational journeys and their long-term career potential.

Looking Ahead

The launch of the 2025–2026 Cohort marks an exciting new chapter in workforce development for the e-mobility industry. As these 44 fellows begin their journey, they will contribute fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and a commitment to building a cleaner, smarter, and more future-ready transportation system.

Stay tuned as we spotlight our fellows, highlight their stories, and share the impact of this year’s program. Together, we are building the workforce of tomorrow.
